Awe-inspiring Acts of Kindness

Celebrating National Volunteer Week April 18-24, 2021

The theme for National Volunteer Week 2021 is The Value of One, The Power of Many, and this truly reflects the spirit of volunteerism at McCormick.

This past year, we have witnessed many awe-inspiring acts of kindness by individuals, from bringing the Holiday joy to residents at McCormick Home to providing a St. Patrick's Day Celebration.

There is a kind of magic that happens when we work together towards a common purpose - like the many, many, individuals who supported our signature events. From our fabulous volunteer, subject-matter-expert presenters for Fit-For-Care to the many who supported our Ritz Gala @Home including our committee and meal drivers.

Our volunteer Board of Directors has shown great leadership and resilience during this year of the pandemic and uncertainty. Their courage to embrace innovative ideas and support new ways of working has strengthened our Foundation and it sets the tone as we re-imagine our future, together.

It is difficult to find adequate words to describe how much your individual and collective acts of kindness mean to us especially during this year of the pandemic.

Thank you to all of our volunteers - for your tireless volunteerism and for the tangible difference you make for the clients, residents, and families of McCormick Care Group.
