Art with Barb
Barbara Rowlandson is an aspirational polymath whose creative pursuits include writing, illustration, song writing, and dance. She holds a duel degree/diploma from the University of Toronto and Sheridan College in Art & Art History. In addition to her day job as an online content strategist, Barb performs (in non-COVID times) as a bubble artist at festivals and other outdoor events, and is an officiant with the Ontario Humanist Society.
Barb recently authored a book with her sister Lorri; "The New Normal: Informed Predictions on How the World of Work Will Change Forever" is a guide to the post-COVID-19 workplace (available on Amazon). One of the highlights of Barb's career was founding Ontario's Best Butter Tart Festival in Midland, Ontario, which has grown to be one of Canada's largest food-themed events (she still serves as Best in Show judge at the festival's butter tart contest each year - a sweet gig!).
When Barb isn't busy serving clients, you will inevitably find her chasing a fun pursuit like training her new puppy, drawing, going to dance class, hanging with her teenage daughter, or making giant bubbles.
