Make a donation of any amount - we're recommending a minimum donation of $25 but we're grateful for all donations.

Ask your friends to support your efforts and combat social isolation and loneliness for residents at McCormick Home.
Everyone who joins and makes a donation will receive an email with a list of materials and a link to participate, prior to the event. All evening of participants will be eligible for awards and prize.
Plus, the overall* individual who raises the most money will receive the Top Individual Fundraiser Award presented by InstaHome.

Participants who raise $150 or more will receive a Fit for Care T-shirt by mail.

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Ron Subden
Chef
Ron has been in the Food and Beverage industry for 35 years. He started out at a small restaurant in Unionville, Ontario when he began taking Culinary Skills at George Brown College. From there he got his apprenticeship and earned his Red Seal as a certified chef.
Ron has worked at private golf clubs, large hotels, and fine dining restaurants.
He was the executive chef of a private golf club for 15 years, then moved on to teaching at the college level for culinary and hospitality students. He has been to over 30 countries around the world and explored his passion for food in each country with great reverence.
Teamed up with his wife, Ron owned a small Inn and restaurant in Port Hope and currently teaches at Loyalist College in Belleville.

ABOUT
Fit for Care is a series of wellness events and fitness challenges that raises funds for the McCormick Care Foundation. It is an innovative collaboration between McCormick Care Foundation and Fanshawe College’s Recreation and Leisure students in support of enhancing care, enriching lives, and advancing dementia care at McCormick Care Group.
This year's fundraising goal is $10,000 for the purchase of a wheel-chair tandem bicycle and garden enhancements through virtual events.
